(260420) -- NANJING, April 20, 2026 (Xinhua) -- A dragon boat race is held at Zhuhai sports town in Wangguanji Town of Suqian, east China's Jiangsu Province, Oct. 26, 2025. The sports town is an eco-tourism project built upon local water environment restoration. In 2020, a comprehensive water environment improvement project was initiated in Zhuhai to tackle the problem of aquaculture tailwater, connecting local water system and turning stagnant water into flowing water.
In recent years, Jiangsu has prioritized eco-environmental conservation and pursuing green development. By integrating ecological restoration, circular economy and rural revitalization, the province has forged a path of rural revitalization marked by coordinated improvements of ecological, economic and social benefits, serving a vivid model for green development and rural revitalization nationwide.
